We unfortunately received the following message today from Hudson Mohawke‘s management:

With deep regret we announce that due to personal reasons Hudson Mohawke will be unable to play Pukkelpop and Lowlands in 2012.

We are looking for a replacement.

It’s a wrap! The final musical feature for Pukkelpop 2012 has been confirmed!

On Thursday we’ll be bringing Rizzle Kicks, one of the latest British hiphop sensation, to our field. While retaining the feel-good factor of the bands who influenced them, like De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest, Rizzle Kicks fills out their sound with pure pop, ska and indie rock. With lyrics like “I just want all of these girls to be on me. And maybe even one of them could be Beyoncé” and a live show backed by a full band, Rizzle Kicks is ready for Pukkelpop. Fatboy Slim is a fan – how about you?!

Lots of new names will still be announced for the wild and crazy things happening around the main sensations – Petit Bazar, Salon Fou and other intriguing oddities! We’ll keep you posted!
